AT&T / It Can Wait

AT&T wanted to utilize their 5G technology and tackle a message about distracted driving. This film pairs the dangers of distracted driving with the promise of a not so distant future, where cars do the driving for us. The car interior and exterior were the most important part in this misdirect. Lots of thought went into the design in an effort not to give anything away at first. Then upon the reveal and second viewing, you can see they’re in an autonomous vehicle and never in any danger at all. Literally, because we shot it in a stationary car and added plates from a second location. With the help of The Mill, and a fancy drone that was almost blown out to sea. Directed by Kathryn Bigelow.
