Coca-Cola Olympic TV

We did a series of spots for the Summer Olympics and Coke. They each feature a specific athlete's story of how they got to where they are today and who their influences were. Each athlete has a unique story from different parts of the world. Directed by Victor Garcia.

David Oliver

David is the former 110 meter hurdles champion winning the gold medal at the World Championships in Moscow. And being from Denver, growing up in low altitude certainly doesn’t hurt your training to become a professional runner. This spot outlines the help he had in the past, and the need to pay it forward as it takes a journey from young to present day David.

Marlene Espranza

Before the press, before the fans, and before her trainers, there was always one person Marlene could count on. Her dad, which coincidentally, always had a bottle of Coca-Cola with him, right at the perfect time. We shot in an empty stadium, and with the help of The Mill, jam packed it with fans.

Jessica Long

This is a pretty incredible story. Jessica was originally an orphan from Siberia, adopted by a family in the U.S. This spot talks about how Jessica has traveled the world for her love of swimming. We had several extras for the shoot, that were also professional swimmers. And with multiple takes and different set-ups, Jessica was still ready fro more when we were done shooting. She won a few medals that year in several events. And by several I mean 8 Golds.
